Douglas J. Weber

Douglas J. Weber received his and Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. He is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also the Program Manager in the Biological Technologies Office (BTO) at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, Virginia. His research area is Neural Engineering, including studies of functional electrical stimulation (FES), activity-based neuromotor rehabilitation, neural coding, and neural control of prosthetic devices.
