Full Body Musculoskeletal Model for Muscle-Driven Simulation of Human Gait
We present an open-source 3-D full-body musculoskeletal model with high-fidelity representations of the lower limb musculature of healthy young individuals that can be used to generate accurate simulations of gait. The model is implemented in the open-source software platform OpenSim.
Simulation-Based Design for Wearable Robotic Systems: An Optimization Framework for Enhancing a Standing Long Jump
We propose a simulation-based, optimization framework for designing devices to augment a standing long jump. We first show how the framework can generate a realistic jump without relying on experimental data. We then use the framework to design active and passive devices to increase jump distance and analyze the optimal human and device control strategies.
