Jihye Bae

Jihye Bae received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, in 2007, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
From 2013 to 2015, she was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University. She is currently appointed as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Her research interests encompass adaptive signal processing, machine learning, and their applications to medicine and biology. She investigates techniques for biomedical signal processing with an emphasis on brain signals applied to the development of new methods to aid patients with neuromuscular disabilities or neurological disorders.
